Keith Buncke, Principal Bassoon

Fifteen-year old Keith Buncke recently joined CSO as the principal bassoon for the 2008-2009 season. Keith currently studies with Oregon Symphony bassoonist Mark Eubanks and attends Lake Oswego High School. Keith has played in the Metropolitan Youth Symphony and Portland Youth Philharmonic in addition to his junior high and high school music programs.

Keith has just spent the summer attending music festivals in Marrowstone, Interlochen, and Tanglewood. Keith has won first place in numerous State competitions and is the 2008-2009 Chamber Music Northwest Young Artist Fellow.
