Rachel Anderson, Flute & Piccolo, Personnel Manager

Rachel Anderson currently performs as Piccolo/3rd Flute of the Columbia Symphony Orchestra. She is also a regular member of the Portland Opera, Portland Chamber Orchestra, and Principal Flute of the Vancouver Symphony. She has also performed with the Oregon Symphony, Eugene Symphony, Oregon Ballet Theater, and the Cascade Festival among others.

Rachel has been active in the behind-the-scenes arena, serving in the past as Orchestra Manager for the Vancouver Symphony and Operations Manager for the Portland Youth Philharmonic and Metropolitan Youth Symphony Associations.

Rachel graduated from Portland State University with a bachelor's degree in flute performance. She maintains a large private teaching studio in the Portland area.
